WebPs2 freezes on browser menu I just booted up my old ps2 (fat ps2) for the first time in a long time. It opens up on the Browser/System configuration screen, but i can’t move up/down to system configuration. I can press x to go to the browser, but in the browser i can’t move the cursor or press x to enter anything. WebDec 10, 2024 · In fact, any time I try to access the HDD on my PS2 EXCEPT through OPL for PLAYING GAMES, it freezes my PS2 as well! Makes it load eternally. I tried accessing my HDD with UlaunchElf but it just freezes. As a last resort, I tried converting my 128 Mb memory card into a FreeMcBoot card as well.

So, just copy the ISO on the USB device, then defrag it with Auslogics disk defrag as suggested. It seems the game doesn't start from USB in any way, it freezes at the R Logo as you said.
