WebWhile that makes you stand, it still thinks you're holding shift in the inventory (which in 1.5 means no item dragging). To remedy this I found one just needs to exit the inventory, crouch again and letting go, not doing anything else. Though it's 1.6 so it may be completely different, but worth as shot. ;)
