I've attempted various solutions that I've found on the internet, but nothing seems to be working: Tried running in compatibility mode. Tried reinstalling. WebNo worries. Unfortunately the beta patch can cause other problems in the game. So if you start having other issues after you have a save post crash, you'll want to roll back which is done just by unchecking the beta thing in steam.
