When I download the data from the radio, it overwrites my .csv file, making it empty, and I have not figured out how to reinput the existing .csv file data to the file to be uploaded. I would guess that you are trying to upload a Generic.CSV tab directly to a radio. That is not permitted because it is not specific to any particular radio model. If you want to download from one radio and upload those settings to another radio, first download from each radio to a separate “tab” of CHIRP.
