First, it tries to resolve the name using the root NS - which of course fails. At the end it tries to resolve via the DNS forwarder but though there is a response, it fails. WebUnless you changed something, it's going to contain the dhcp server provided values. It needs to be 127.0.0.1. Getting resolv.conf changed is a bit different depending on the distro. 2. level 2.
